The Big Meeting

Monday mom and I met with D W. It was a good meeting and we expressed that we were interested in selling our property and he confirmed that J S was interested in purchasing it. We talked that we needed to agree upon a price and he has ordered a comparison appraisal of our property for a starting point to nigociate a price. He felt that we could reach an agreement that would be acceptable to both of us. He sent me a carbon copy of the request for the comparison appraisal. We will meet again when that comes back and then the real nigociation will begin. I expressed that we would need probably a year to move and he made a note for himself that we would need a year or two. He didn't think that would be a problem. I have met with my accountant and will meet with J C tomorrow and take council from him about this whole process. Jim has bought and sold a few businesses and may have some good council. We thank all of you for your fasting and prayers. We know the Lord is mindful of us and we trust that he is involved with this process and that the best situation for us will be the outcome. Please keep us in your prayers. (Pray big)

Yay for a ray of hope! I hope, and pray, that everything works out better than you dared hope!

As I read this I was thinking about all the work you've put in to your business, your honesty in your work, the memories made and lessons learned in that little shop, and I can't help but think that everything will work out for you. I'll pray hard.

Like Josh said, that little old shop has done a lot of good. Many lessons learned. Many people helped on their way. Many families supported—especially our great family. And now, we hope and pray that it will be the means of sending you off into happy, enjoyable retirement.

We love you so much.
